Planespotting at Airbus' home in Toulouse

For any aviation enthusiast, one of the bonuses of visiting Airbus' facilities in Toulouse are the planespotting opportunities the Blagnac facility offers.

In particular, for planespotters based in Europe there is a chance of spotting some aircraft that rarely or never visit European airports.

Here are some pictures I took at Airbus's Aircraft Delivery Center, the facility where Airbus hands over newly built aircraft to their new owners. On the day that I visited, there was a very interesting selection of aircraft to be seen...

Although visiting Thai Airways' 5th A380 was one of the goals of the visit, that was not the only Thai aircraft at the facility...

And here is a very rare bird: Fiji Airlines A330, an aircraft that broke the headlines a while ago because of its re-branding, that included the unveiling of a creative eye-catching livery inspired in the culture of this Pacific Ocean archipelago

Here is another view of the Fiji Airlines A330, the quality of the picture is far from optimal, but was taken with a mobile phone camera from a moving bus! 

A sight that is becoming rarer and rarer, an A340-300! (and I still have not flown any of the type!)
