New aircraft deliveries are always a thing and the handover of the very first Embraer E190-E2 to launch customer Wideroe, of Norway, was no exception.

Last week we had the chance to partake in this occasion, the last leg of the delivery flight, from Aberdeen, Scotland, to Bergen, Norway, and the related welcome ceremony and gala dinner.

Those interested in the minutiae of this very special flight, particularly about the passenger experience onboard the E190-E2, will find plenty of details in our chronicles for The Points Guy and AirInsight. Those with a strong interest in the technical and business details of the E2 programme should read also these pieces by Emily McNutt in The Points Guy and Ernest S. Arvai, for AirInsight, both reporting from Embraer’s HQ in Sao Jose de Campos a few days prior.

What I have collected in this post is a number of additional images and, particularly, videos, that I shot during the delivery flight and for some reason or another didn’t make it into the aforementioned articles, but can help you get a more complete view of how is it like to fly the World’s newest airliner.
