Just like top fashion designer set the trends of the industry with outlandish, ground-breaking concepts, Jay’s work at Embraer’s executive jet design team has produced some of the most original aircraft cabin concepts I have ever seen.

Art Déco, the Roaring Twenties and Japanese culture are some of the themes that Jay and his team has used as inspiration for their innovative work in private jet interior design, not to mention Jay’s own previous background as a designer in the automotive industry.

In this episode we talk about the fascinating thought process that leads to Embraer’s wild cabin interior propositions…plus we found some time as well to talk about the trends that are shaping the industry and about some of the latest projects the Embraer’s design team, is branching out into, such as the corporate jet-inspired Paradigma office chair.
