Wisk, ZeroAvia & interesting aviation events (The Allplane Newsletter #102)

This week, the World Aviation Festival took place in Amsterdam, gathering a large cross-section of the airline and air travel industry. It was a fruitful event from which I got lots of inspiration and ideas for new posts and podcasts. What’s more, I am very glad to see in person events are back!

Next one on the horizon is FutureTravel Summit in Barcelona, on Nov. 4. Do not hesitate to reach out if your are planning to attend!

But, in the meantime, let’s see what happened in the world of aviation in the last few days

Joby and Skyports will be testing (and showcasing in different cities!) the so called “Living Lab”, which is a sort of vertiport prototype that aims to bring. “zero waiting” experience to travelers. It will be interesting to see for real. LINK.

Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF)

Is there going to be enough feedstock to make SAF for everyone? A study by Royal NLR and Delft University of Technology raises the alarm. LINK.

Hydrogen Aviation

ZeroAvia has acquired HyPoint, a developer of hydrogen fuel cell systems. LINK.
