Feline Jumbo: Transaero goes wild with new Siberian Tiger livery

Tranasero Tiger livery

This is one of the most awesome liveries I have seen so far on the, already awesome by itself, Boeing 747-400.

The creature on the nose of this Transaero jumbo jet is non other than an Amur Tiger (also known as Siberian Tiger), a large feline that lives in Russia's Far East regions.

This special painting aims to raise awareness about the predicament of the Amur tiger, that is currently under threat of extinction, with only 510 to 540 individuals estimated to remain in the wild.

Not the first time that Transaero supports Russia's wildlife, last April, one of its aircraft flew a three-month old orphaned Himalayan bear cub from the Far Eastern city of Khabarovsk to an animal refuge in Moscow.
