Finnair Readies New Marimekko Livery

After the (near)demise of Nokia, Marimekko and Finnair remain as two of Finland's most popular brands, not only at home, but in the international scene too.

In fact, Finnair and Marimekko have already been collaborating on a number of areas.

For example the toiletries distributed to business class customers onboard Finnair's flights are designed by Marimekko and, in 2014, the Finnish flag carrier painted an Airbus A330 in Marimekko themes.

The initiative must have been successful, because Finnair is now launching yet another aircraft in Marimekko livery. This time is one of its brand-new A350s.

The image below is just a rendering, as the aircraft is still at Airbus' facilities in Toulouse, but a few lucky spotters have already got a glimpse of the real thing!
