Ethiopian and Wizz Air Mark 100th Milestone
Two airlines marked, just a few days apart, a very special moment: the reception of their 100th aircraft.
To be more exact, in the case of Wizz Air it was its 100th of the A320-family (has it ever flown any other type?), a relevant enough occasion to deserve its own special celebratory livery.
For Ethiopian, it was a Boeing 787 Dreamliner, new from the factory in the US, that had the honour of being the 100th aircraft in the fleet. In its ferry flight, this aircraft also flew medical equipment from Seattle-based NGO, Direct Relief, destined for a Ethiopian hospital.
In both cases, a milestone that is a good reflection of the success of a strategy that prizes focus on core geographical and product strengths.
