These are exciting times for aerospace innovators.

There is a huge challenge ahead: the de-carbonization of aviation.

And one of the startups in the pole position of this race is ZeroAvia. What’s interesting about ZeroAvia is that it is exploring the possibilities of the most promising sources of power for the aviation industry: hydrogen.

With the first flight of its demonstrator in September 2020, ZeroAvia keeps advancing apace along the technological learning curve. The next step, weather and covid permitting, will be a series of flight tests in Scotland.

In the meantime, I had the chance to get Katya Akulinicheva, ZeroAvia’s CFO, on the podcast, to learn more about this ambitious startup and its plans to make of hydrogen the green fuel of choice of the commercial aviation industry.

Do not miss this episode of the podcast for a unique glimpse into the future of aviation!
