We live in an era of exuberance when it come to the proliferation of new aircraft concepts of all sorts.

A few days ago we explained here, on these pages, how the airships may stage soon a comeback and become, once again, a regular mode of transportation.

In Italy, the Lazzarini Design Studio has taken this idea a bit further and come up with an interesting, if undeniably outlandish, concept: the twin-body amphibious airship.

The Air Yacht is an attempt to create a flying super-yacht of sorts. Designed for the super-luxury market, if it comes to fruition it will allow its users to alternate between the sky and the waves, moving at leisurely, but comfortable speeds.
