New podcast episode with hydrogen aviation pioneer Josef Kallo (H2FLY)
Josef Kallo has been a leading force behind the H2FLY project, a German startup which has been a forerunner in the field of hydrogen-powered aviation.
H2FLY’s decade of research in hydrogen technology hasn’t gone unnoticed and, in 2021, the company was acquired by Joby Aviation, one of the leading advanced air mobility developers in an acquisition that opens up interesting paths for the development of long-range hydrogen-powered eVTOLs.
In the meantime, Josef’s team at H2FLY continues to reach milestones, like completing the first piloted flight powered by liquid hydrogen, a remarkable technological feat given the challenges in handling an element that must be kept at -253 C in its liquid form!
So, tune in for an episode of the podcast in which we review the current state of hydrogen aviation, the challenges and opportunities ahead for this segment of the industry and the commercial perspectives for one of its most innovative firms!
